Ric Drasin was a professional wrestler, personal trainer, and an American bodybuilder who was famous for other things apart from bodybuilding, like being a stunt man and, surprisingly, a musician and a focused artist.

The multi-talented golden-era bodybuilder Ric Drasin has formed a band in high school named The Epics, which was even featured at the 1960s Hollywood Bowl.

Likewise, he was also one of the great minds behind the Gold’s Gym logo. And, with a great fanbase and popular on social media platforms, he even had the successful YouTube channel Ric’s Corner, where he used to share bodybuilding, fitness, and wrestling-related tips.

About Ric Drasin

Ric Drasin (July 12, 1944, to August 30, 2020) was quite popular for training with other bodybuilding legends like Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbo, and Arnold Schwarzenegger from the 1960s to 1970s. Similarly, he was also an actor, stuntman, personal trainer, and professional wrestler.

Ric has professionally wrestled for more than three decades in total. Also, he was a powerlifter and weightlifter as well.

After finishing his studies, Ric even enlisted for the Army Reserves, where he served for eight years. He was posted at Fort Lewis, Washington, and Fort Ord, California as driver and typist/clerk, and then later, he even achieved the position of sergeant.

After coming back from his services in the army, Ric started focusing on fitness and started taking classes on exercises and nutrition at Bakersfield YMCA. He even became an instructor at Babe’s Gym between 1963 to 1964, and from 1965 to 1967, he was even managing Joseph’s Gym.

Later he even wrote books on training & wrestling and appeared in TV shows & movies. Likewise, he even became Specialist Reserve Officer for the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department.)
